Oh, for cryin' out loud!

Here we are at week 39 and yet again, there is no change. I do believe that Madison is more stubborn than her mom. At least we are both healthy, my blood pressure and her heart beat are both good. Honestly, I was a bit concerned that she might be stressed because she has been moving alot more the past few days than she has in months, but she's good.

Assuming she's still hanging on in there next week, the doctor said they would devise some sort "escape plan." Ha! Cute. So next Thursday, they'll hook me up to a sonogram for an apparent ungodly amount of time so they can check on her. Since I started prenatal care so early, they won't let me go more than a week past my due date. Depending on what doctor I see, they might not let go more than 2 days past my due date. Woohoo! Let's go!

I saw one of the couples from our birthing class today that just had their baby. She was 4 weeks early. Lucky her. I'm sooo jealous.

Meantime, poor Jason has three managers that are taking vacations next month and they will start construction for the expansion of his store on the 7th. Someone, somewhere has a real sick sense of humor. So, he just keeps his phone close and freaks out every time it rings. Ha! Too cute.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that she'll be here soon.

  1. I hate it for you! I know you are soooo ready to have her! I was spoiled that AC came 3 weeks early (don't shoot me!) I am totally thinking of you and hoping she makes her debut SOON... Rest up Momma. Oh and give us a picture update! xoxo

  2. Okay, 1st the doc's aren't as smart as they lead you to believe and 2nd - if Madison is that active sounds like she is shifting and making ready for departure :)
You should be dropping soon if not already (send current pic) and once that happens you're in the home stretch. Hang in there baby. Love you bunches

  3. Hi Jason and Katie!
Sounds like Little "Maddie" is ready to come into this world! I did not get to experience natural child birth because Jason, Wendy, and Brent came 6 weeks early and I had to have C-Sections on all three. Jason only weighed 5lbs when we brought him home from the hospital and now look at him! When you look into Maddie's eyes, you will forget every discomfort that you have had! I think God planned it that way! Please call us as soon as you go into labor so that Ronnie and I can jump into the car and come. Our suitcases are packed and ready!
    Love you both
