Finger Foods, Pumpkins, and Puppies - Oh My!

I am loving this stage in Maddie's life. She is sooooo much fun, giggly, happy, and easily distracted. That last part comes in handy when she gets fussy. I just show her something random and her whole disposition changes. It's great. haha. She's been having a great time going on hay rides, trying to eat pumpkins bigger that her, and playing with the other babies. She absolutely loves Jaxson, and he is just as infatuated by her.

She has been suffering with a bout of the sniffles, with sneezing and coughing, but I'm not concerned. It seems to be going around right now. I just keep plenty of tissues on hand to wipe her little nose.

We went back to the doctor for a weight check, and the doctor was pleased with her now weighing in at 11.9 pounds. To celebrate her turning 6 months old, I got her ears pierced, too cute.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

I've been slacking on the posting lately...sorry. But, little miss thing is starting to gain some much needed weight since starting her on solids. We go back to the doctor next week for a weight check. She also starting sitting up more on her own, and will even rock back and forth (the first step to crawling). Watch out cats!!!

For those of you that don't know, we got a puppy a couple of weeks ago. He is a 9 week old boxer. Maddie is terribly entertained by Jaxson - there have been many fits of hysterical giggles from our little girl while watching the puppy try to attack the cats.
