I'm sooooooo glad that the sun finally came back, becuase she was CRANKY! Some of the moms in my mommy group said their babies get cranky when the weather is bad for several days at a time.

Mommy Got Bored
Jason had to go to work for a meeting on his day off yesturday, and I just got really bored. For those of you receiving this as an email, you have to go to the blog site in order to see the video.

Long Over Due Nursery Pictures
For those of you that have bugging me for pictures of the nursery, here you go. I have finally had some free time, now that Madison is becoming more interested in just looking around at her surroundings. I've actually started putting her in her crib at night - seeing how long she has gotten. Somehow that little wiggle worm manages to flip herself around to where she'll be sideways or facing the opposite direction than how I originally put her in the crib. It's like a sad little game I play with myself to see which way she'll be facing. Ha! I said it was sad.

She's getting really really good at holding up her head, even though she is not the biggest fan of belly time.

Watching daddy play his video game. And while she's too small to comfortable support herself in the bumbo, I couldn't pass up the photo opp. Just look at that smile!!

On a sad note, we are terribly dissapointed that we won't be able to make it for the 4th of July celebration in Lincoln County. We were really looking forward to seeing everyone, and I know Jason was looking forward to blowing stuff up. So here's a summer photo of what she would look like for the event.

Fun with Bath Time (not so much)
So our little girl is not the biggest fan of bath time, and she doesn't hesitate to let you and the whole neighborhood know. She's definitely got a set of lungs on her! But here are a few pictures to cherish that will surely embarrass her later on in life - because I'm her mother and that's my job. HA!

5 Weeks and Counting
Okay, let's see what I can do in the short amount of time that little bit will nap. I know it's been a while since my last post, but you all understand. Our trip back to KY was great and very well needed. I'm finally starting to feel like a sane person again; like I can actually handle this new mom thing. No book or advice can really prepare you for it all, but I wouldn't change a thing. I really didn't know it was possible to love something so tiny so much.
Our little girl just hit the 5 week mark... I know, I can't believe it either. She grows and changes everyday. She has taken to sleeping about 5-6 hours at her first time down each night - mommy is loving this! She has also just recently discovered the ceiling fans. Ohhh goody! That's like minutes of entertainment right there. Now to fill the other 23 hours and 55 minutes of the day. HA!
Jason's aunt did a photo shoot for us while we were in KY, so once I get the pictures, I'll post them. She's pretty busy, so be patient.
And a huge thanks to Pauline and Ronnie, as always, for their hospitality. I know we're family and you loved having us, but thanks just the same.
Happy early Mother's Day to all the moms!!! Kick back and relax if you can, you've earned it!
Now for some photos.
