Oh, for cryin' out loud!

Here we are at week 39 and yet again, there is no change. I do believe that Madison is more stubborn than her mom. At least we are both healthy, my blood pressure and her heart beat are both good. Honestly, I was a bit concerned that she might be stressed because she has been moving alot more the past few days than she has in months, but she's good.

Assuming she's still hanging on in there next week, the doctor said they would devise some sort "escape plan." Ha! Cute. So next Thursday, they'll hook me up to a sonogram for an apparent ungodly amount of time so they can check on her. Since I started prenatal care so early, they won't let me go more than a week past my due date. Depending on what doctor I see, they might not let go more than 2 days past my due date. Woohoo! Let's go!

I saw one of the couples from our birthing class today that just had their baby. She was 4 weeks early. Lucky her. I'm sooo jealous.

Meantime, poor Jason has three managers that are taking vacations next month and they will start construction for the expansion of his store on the 7th. Someone, somewhere has a real sick sense of humor. So, he just keeps his phone close and freaks out every time it rings. Ha! Too cute.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that she'll be here soon.

Doctor's Appointment

Well, I had my 38 week checkup today and surprise, surprise, she's still not ready. That must be some serious makeup she's putting on in there. It's been pretty much the same at the past three appointments, barely dilated. I'm sooooo ready, and I think she is as well. She's a big fan of rolling around like she's swimming laps or something. At least she's an equal opportunity kicker. Ha!

Well, here we are at 18 days to go. I'm new at this whole blog thing, but I figured I'd give it a whirl. Since we are so far from all of our friends and family, maybe this will be an easy way for everyone to keep up.

Once our baby girl is here, maybe I'll be able to figure out how to post videos (with the help of Jason and Katie W).

As you can very well see, I'm about ready to "pop." Pretty much everything has become a chore, and "uncomfortable" is now part of my main vocabulary.

As you can see, we are still patiently awaiting Madison's furniture. I've managed to find hiding places all over the house. The glider/ottoman has been left in the living room until her furniture arrives. Hopefully it will fit. I don't even want to discuss the garage....

And the overflow continues in the funky colored guest room. No we did not pick this color - it actually looks worse in person.

And we are still patiently waiting to find out what BWW has in mind for Jason's future. Whatever it is, I really hope it involves a move(even if that does mean staying in Fayettenam). We are busting out at the seams in this house.

So check in periodically for updates. More to come.....
