Well, the Bradshaw's came for a short visit over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Even Brent got to come and meet his 8 month old niece for the first time (hint hint). Haha. Anyway, while it might have been a short trip, everyone seemed to have a great time, and Maddie really took to her uncle Brent.
Jason and I, as well as everyone else, are really excited about our upcoming trip to Kentucky. We should arrive at my parents house around the wee hours on December 13th. That's our current plan.
And here are some bath pictures. She is really starting to enjoy bath time.
My mommy groups Christmas party. More to follow once I get he disc from the photographer.
I know that I'm a glutton for punishment, but she's so darn cute and happy, I just couldn't help myself.
I love this one!!
And then came the clean up. She is now sitting in the tub all by herself (watched like a hawk by yours truly, of course).
She is sitting up really well now, and loves to just sit there and play with her toys. (and try to eat them) All the while, she will babble and tell me what I'm sure she thinks are wonderful stories.
She will be crawling for real in no time. Ronnie and Pauline - You're just not going to believe it! She's still doing the scoot and pull, but has modified it by adding her knees for that additional boost. My friends weren't kidding when they said it goes by fast.
I am getting really excited about the Bradshaw's coming for Thanksgiving, and we can't wait until December to come home and see everyone.
I am loving this stage in Maddie's life. She is sooooo much fun, giggly, happy, and easily distracted. That last part comes in handy when she gets fussy. I just show her something random and her whole disposition changes. It's great. haha. She's been having a great time going on hay rides, trying to eat pumpkins bigger that her, and playing with the other babies. She absolutely loves Jaxson, and he is just as infatuated by her.
She has been suffering with a bout of the sniffles, with sneezing and coughing, but I'm not concerned. It seems to be going around right now. I just keep plenty of tissues on hand to wipe her little nose.
